Chris,

Know officers will be looking at this, appreciate a plan and layout details as soon as possible, as I have said we will fund the works, as the ground will need cultivating in preparing for planting.

Muscliff park, adjacent between the Community Centre and Shack

Chris,

At our action group meeting we discussed the ongoing situation with Youngster riding their bike adjacent between the two community buildings and the mess of the grass area as such, as you know the shack and ward members have paid towards providing the present Jumps for young people in the woodland area, on Boxing day, [Saturday], enjoying my visit in the area on my push bike, notice youngsters still attempting to ride over the recently place grass soil cutting strips, after speaking to these youngsters explaining the reasons for us providing the jumps.

Can I request that we layout the area between the two buildings for shrubbery planting, support by fencing [meantime to establish], as clearly if we try to build up their bank we are going to continue to see it being used by bikers when we have provided the alternative.

Also planting will enhance the appearance of the area, am sure with my two ward colleagues we could support the funding, as with similar schemes we are not talking of large funding.

Many thanks,

Councillor Ron Whittaker
