RE: Temporary Car Park Arrangements at Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Thank you for the sketch plan which after many attempts to find out as to where the replacement visitor car spaces will be allocated. Also the loss of spaces for the Jigsaw [46] new build, now it shows all 88 plus spaces to be allocated in the former staff car park as you say in the South Western corner, which I trust will now have very clear signage to point visitors/patients attending this hospital to the new car park.

Mike thank you for pursuing this with the hospital.

Temporary Car Park Arrangements at Royal Bournemouth Hospital

Dear Councillor Whittaker

Please find attached a sketch highlighting in blue the area to be dedicated for visitor parking (on the South Western corner) prior to the loss of parking at the Bus Hub to ensure that the required visitor spaces are provided on site.

Although as stated this is a sketch I am confident that this is operationally acceptable and will comply with the principles of the parking condition.

The Hospital will be producing a finalised copy later but I hope that the enclosed sketch reassures you that the earlier parking concerns will be properly addressed.

Your sincerely,
Mike Campkin,
Development Control and Forward Planning Manager, Planning and Transport, Bournemouth Council
