Muscliff Events 2012 Synopsis

The 2 Muscliff events were a great success and what lovely weather we had!!!! The 2 charities benefitted by: Saturday - Jon Egging Trust Fund £137.17 and the Sunday - Kitty's Wishes £93.49. Thanks to all the Funday committee and the volunteers who worked so hard to make the events so successful and enjoyable for all the families who attended. The very first Muscliff Family Music Festival was great with local acts and was kicked off with Swing Unlimited. The Sunday Funday was opened by the Mayor of Bournemouth, Cllr Phil Stanley-Watts and his consort Cllr Sue Levell they stayed for 2 hours walking around the stalls and talking to the traders.

Thank you to all the residents who supported us over the weekend. Absolute Music sponsored the stage and gave the first raffle prize of a guitar and 10 lessons worth £250 and Pizza Hut sponsored all the volunteers food on the Sunday and gave a raffle prize as did many local businesses.

Here's to next year!!!

Councillor Anne Rey
